Lindsey Wrubel

Lindsey has been working with HOAs and Condo Associations for over 20 years and advises over 150 associations. 

Biography

Lindsey A. Wrubel is one of seven Ohio State Bar Association Certified Residential Real Estate Specialists and works out of the Northfield and Strongsville Branch of EQUES® in Northeast Ohio. Before joining the EQUES® family in 2021, Lindsey worked with condominium associations, homeowners associations, and real estate clients at a boutique law firm for 15 years.

Lindsey was raised in Westlake, Ohio, located in Northeastern Ohio, and graduated from Westlake High School in 2002.

She became a licensed real estate agent at age 19 while attending Heidelberg College in Tiffin, Ohio, where she majored in Business Administration, obtained a minor in Legal Studies, and graduated after three years in 2005. She earned her Master of Business Administration from Cleveland State University in 2007.

Lindsey attended the University of Akron School of Law part-time while working as a certified paralegal, and graduated in the Fall of 2014 cum laude. She was admitted to the Ohio Bar in May 2015. She is also admitted to practice in bankruptcy court and in the Northern District of Ohio for the United States District Court.

Lindsey handles a variety of matters in her practice, including community association covenant enforcement, litigation, collection, foreclosures, appellate practice, easements, and boundary disputes, and also presiding over condominium and homeowners association annual meetings, and other real estate matters, including litigation. She has successfully argued cases for condominium and HOA clients in the Eighth and Ninth District Courts of Appeals.

She is dedicated to bringing HOA/condo boards, owners, and property managers to peaceful resolutions, and facilitating neighborly discussions to resolve legal issues.  Lindsey furthers board member education through bi-annual seminars are pertinent legal topics, as well as through periodic newsletters and breaking law updates.

Lindsey is also a member of the  Ohio State Bar Association, Medina County Bar Association, Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, Community Associations Institute, and Northern Ohio Chapter of the Community Associations Institute.  She serves on the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s Real Estate Institute Committee, and was Vice Chair in 2025. Lindsey also serves on the Medina County Certified Grievance Committee.

In addition to her legal practice, Lindsey serves on the Hinckley Board of Zoning Appeals, is the Committee Chair for Hinckley’s Cub Scout pack, and has also served as a Cub Scout den leader.

Lindsey lives in rural Hinckley Township, in Medina County, and is proud to call “The Home of the Buzzard” home. Her better half, Len, owns and manages a local property management company in Medina County. They are happy raising their son, Matthew, in the rolling hills of Hinckley, surrounded by great neighbors. In her free time, she tackles DIY home projects, paddle boards, and is a Highland Hornets fan, cheering on Matthew’s baseball, wrestling, and tackle football teams. Her family also enjoys taking their classic car to local car shows in the summertime. During school breaks, you can find her family in New Smyrna Beach, the shark bite capital of the world!
