Sarah Powell

Sarah Powell has always known that Southeast Ohio is home. She grew up in Barnesville, Ohio and loved being a part of the close-knit community. After graduating from Barnesville High School, Sarah received a degree in History and Political Science from Case Western Reserve University. She then received her Juris Doctorate from Capital University Law School and was sworn in to the practice of law in November 2025. During her time in law school, Sarah was involved in various organizations, including the Capital University Law Review, and she graduated summa cum laude. Now, Sarah is excited to return to Southeast Ohio and serve the community that raised her.
