Technology is great until sometimes it isn’t! Our HOA legal team has worked with three different legal case management software systems, and none worked well for the Condominium and HOA practice.
Those case management software systems do not cater well to multiple open files for a single community association, and the billing and interface are not ideal for your property management companies.
Accordingly, after two years of reviewing different HOA legal and collection software systems, we are pleased to announce that beginning August 1, 2023, the EQUES HOA Legal Team will be converting its case management system. In July, our team will undertake extensive training to implement this new system effectively.
To ensure that our team is fully able to utilize the new systems and that our current HOA/Condo clients are being serviced to the best of our ability, we decided to hold off on taking any new clients until October 1, 2023.
We will, of course, continue to service existing matters and new matters for our current HOA clients and board-management teams.
Some of the features of the new software that we think will make a much better experience for our clients, are as follows:
Board members and property management will have access to a secure online system where you can see the status and notes of any enforcement, collection, or litigation matter.
The system will allow board decisions such as whether to file a collection action to be made through the online system rather than through email.
This information will be up-to-date in real time and allow management and boards to generate reports at their leisure.
Once the system is fully implemented, we will be working on granting all board members and managers access through usernames and passwords. Once a new board member comes on the board, or a new manager is assigned, the old contact will lose portal access. We look forward to providing more information to you over the coming months concerning our new case management software and are confident this transition will improve the client experience.
